Sustainable Leather
Our premium leather handbags are ethically crafted, using predominantly Italian leather. We select materials for functionality, durability, and timeless beauty. Sustainability is equally important, we incorporate recycled and plant‑based fabrics, and source leathers with minimal environmental impact.
Goatskin
Goatskin is a leather of exceptional character, naturally soft, remarkably strong, and distinguished by its unique, irregular grain. Unlike more uniform hides, goatskin retains the organic markings of its origin, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.
Its fine texture offers a supple hand feel while maintaining excellent resistance to wear and flexing, making it an ideal choice for handbags that are both luxurious and practical. Lightweight yet durable, goatskin conforms to daily use without compromising its structure or appearance.
Vegetable-tanned Calfskin
The vegetable tanning process is very time-consuming compared to chrome tanning and usually involves minimal additional finishing, preserving the leather's natural appearance. In other words, you will directly see the leather's inherent color, grain, scars, spots, and more—it's raw and authentic.
As a result, the quality requirements for hides intended for vegetable tanning are relatively high. Over time and use, unique marks will be left on the bag.
Distressed Oil-wax Cow Leather
Oil-wax leather is a high‑grade full‑grain cowhide that undergoes a special treatment in which natural animal oils and plant waxes are deeply infused into the leather fibers through heat‑penetration or tanning processes. This treatment retains the natural pores and grain of the hide, giving it a soft matte, oily sheen and a supple yet resilient hand. Its greatest appeal lies in its “living” nature: with daily use, it slowly changes color under light, body heat, and friction, gradually developing a warm patina while minor scratches naturally fade.
The vintage distressed process, built upon high‑quality oil‑wax leather, artificially simulates years of natural wear through techniques such as tumbling, sanding, local embossing, and hand‑rubbed dyeing, creating creases, uneven color tones, and subtly abraded edges.
This treatment does not hide the leather’s flaws but intentionally accentuates its natural grain patterns, giving each hide a timeworn, storytelling appearance. The resulting vintage distressed oil‑wax leather retains the strength of new leather while embodying the character of aged material, offering an instant patina that would otherwise take years to develop.
Pebbled Calfskin
The surface of the cowhide features a fine, uniform granular texture, reminiscent of the surface of a lychee or fine sand grains. This texture may occur naturally as a full‑grain finish, which retains the pores and wrinkles inherent to the animal hide.
However, it is more commonly achieved through artificial embossing, applied to enhance aesthetics, improve durability, and effectively mask any surface imperfections.
Smooth Calfskin
Smooth calfskin is defined by its immaculate, even surface, free of visible grain or texture. Its refined appearance speaks to a classic, understated elegance that pairs seamlessly with both contemporary and timeless designs. The hide is carefully selected for its flawless finish, then lightly treated to preserve its natural suppleness while achieving a pristine, polished look.
Its pristine surface also demands care, as marks and scratches are more readily visible, a characteristic that, for many, adds to its honest, unadorned beauty.
Calfskin Suede
Suede calfskin is defined by its delicate, velvety nap, a finish achieved through meticulous buffing of the hide's inner layer. This process yields a matte surface that is exceptionally soft to the touch, offering a tactile luxury that is both understated and refined.
While its aesthetic appeal is unmistakable, suede calfskin is inherently delicate. Its open nap structure renders it sensitive to moisture and abrasion, requiring careful maintenance.
Yet it is precisely this vulnerability that lends the material its honest, unpretentious character, a leather that rewards those who appreciate its natural beauty and are willing to care for it.
Textured Calfskin
Textured calfskin is defined by its precisely embossed surface, a finish achieved through the application of heat and pressure using custom‑engineered plates. This process imprints a uniform, decorative grain onto the hide, resulting in a leather that is as visually distinctive as it is practical.
The embossed texture serves a dual purpose: it enhances the leather's aesthetic appeal while significantly improving its resistance to scratches and daily wear. Unlike smooth finishes that readily show marks, textured calfskin conceals minor abrasions with ease, making it an ideal choice for those who seek luxury that endures.
